What it is
Headless Architecture is a software design pattern that separates backend logic and data from the presentation layer, letting any frontend — UI, API, agent, or CLI — consume the same business capabilities. Headless architectures expose business logic through APIs instead of locking it inside screens and forms. Salesforce Headless 360 is the platform-level version: every Customer 360 capability — flows, validation rules, agents, data access — is reachable as an API, MCP tool, or CLI command, so AI agents and external systems can do what a human in Lightning would.
